How does a vacuum hot press furnace operate without pressurization?

Vacuum hot press furnace uses graphite heating, molybdenum wire heating, periodic work, suitable for metal powder, inorganic non-metallic materials under vacuum, high temperature, hot pressing sintering, of course, can also be under the protection of the atmosphere for sintering. Thus completing the densification of the material, preventing deformation, but also has the effect of inhibiting the coarse grain size of the nano powder.

At present, the vacuum hot press furnace is mainly composed of furnace body, furnace door, heating and insulation and temperature measuring system, vacuum system, inflation system, water cooling system, control system, hydraulic system and so on. It can be widely used in hard alloy, functional ceramics, powder metallurgy and other hot pressing sintering under the condition of high temperature and high vacuum, can also be hot pressing sintering under the condition of inflatable protection.

General operation steps of vacuum hot press furnace (without pressure) :

1. Turn on the cooling system: first turn on the "main power supply" switch of the water tank, wait 7 seconds, then press "pump", and then press "compressor 1"; Turn off the compressor first, then turn off the main power supply;

2. Turn on the red button of the vacuum pump; (The red button in the back is brought up);

3. Open the control cabinet, turn on the big switch (Q1), turn on the small switch (Q6);

4. Start the computer (inside the left side of the control cabinet);

5. Double-click the icon of "Vacuum hot pressing sintering Furnace" on the computer desktop;

6. On the panel of the control cabinet, press the "mechanical pump", "upper butterfly valve", and then open the "lower butterfly valve" after stabilizing for about 1 minutes. After the vacuum degree is less than 20Pa (computer display "2.0E 1"), press the "diffusion pump";

7. Setting of heating curve:

7.1. Press "SET" for three consecutive times on the cryogenic meter and set the conversion temperature "1500" when "AL-1" is displayed;

7.2. When "SET" displays "SV-1", set the temperature to "1510";

7.3. When "SET" displays "TN-1", set the time "2.00" (2 hours, heating rate 12.5℃/ min);

7.4. When "SET" displays "OUT-1", set max output power "90";

7.5. When "SET" displays "SV-2", set the temperature to "80", indicating that the temperature drops to 80℃;

7.6. Run the A/M indicator for 2-3 consecutive times until the MAN indicator is off.

7.7. Press "SET" for 7 consecutive times and set temperature "1550" when "SV-1" is displayed.

7.8. When "SET" displays "TN-1", set the time to "0.10", which means that it takes 10 minutes from 1510℃ to 1550℃.

7.9. When "OUT-1" is displayed in "SET", set max output power "100";

7.10. When SV-2 is displayed in "SET", set temperature to "1800";

7.11. When "SET" displays "TN-2", set the time "1.00" (1 hour, heating rate 5℃/ min);

7.12. When "SET" displays "OUT-2", set max output power "90";

7.13. When "SET" displays "SV-3", set the temperature to "1800";

7.14. When TN-3 is displayed in SET, set the holding time to 3.00 (holding time for 3 hours).

7.15. When "SET" displays "SV-4", set the temperature "800" (cooling to 800℃);

7.16. When "SET" displays "TN-4", set the holding time "0" (cooling time is not controlled);

7.17. Run the A/M indicator for 2-3 consecutive times until the MAN indicator is off.

8.1 Open the "main flapper valve" and close the "upper butterfly valve" at the same time. Wait until the vacuum degree reaches -1MPa~-2MPa.
