Advantages and disadvantages of vacuum hot press furnace:

Advantages:

(1) greatly reduce the forming pressure, the pressure used in hot pressing is only about 1/10 of cold pressing forming, so hot pressing can suppress large products.

(2) Shorten sintering time.

(3) The influence of powder size and hardness on the hot pressing process is not obvious, so hot pressing can suppress some hard and brittle powder.

(4) Hot pressing powder plasticity is good, can be pressed into thin sheet, thin wall tube and other special-shaped products.

Disadvantages:

(1) High requirements for die materials, so it is difficult to choose, and the die life is short, large consumption.

(2) single production, so the production efficiency is low.

(3) The product surface is rough, the precision is low, generally need to clean and machining.

(4) High power consumption, so the product cost is high.

There are three kinds of hot pressure heating: resistance indirect heating, resistance direct heating and induction heating. Resistance indirect heating is the current through the graphite tube heating, and the powder loaded die is put into the graphite tube. Resistance direct heating is divided into current through the die punching material heating and current through the die material heating two conditions. Induction heating is the use of electromagnetic induction excited by the current to heat the die.
