Daily maintenance of vacuum hot press furnace: 1. The empty pump with the gas ballast function should be checked daily before starting the furnace and turned on for 30 minutes as needed to remove moisture from the pump oil. 2. Check cooling water, compressed air, hydraulic system pressure and cooling water flow. 3. The rubber seals and flanges of the vacuum furnace door should be checked when the protective door is closed. There should be no sand or debris. The rubber sealing ring and flange should be wiped clean with a thousand mesh bandage, and evenly apply vacuum grease before closing the door. 4. The workpiece must be cleaned before being put into the furnace. After oil quenching, the oil on the oil-immersed material rack and conveying parts should be cleaned. 5. Air cooled motors are usually used. If it cannot be started in a vacuum, it must be inflated before starting and protected by an electrical interlock protection device. 6. Roots pump shall operate under vacuum conditions above 133 3A, and shall be protected by electrical interlocking protection device.

In addition, for the pipeline with compressed air, open the drainage valve every day to release water. Pay regular attention to whether the cooling water temperature indicator is normal, and check whether the local temperature rise of the contact electrode joint, vacuum furnace door, transformer cooling water pipe and other parts is abnormal.

The advantages of vacuum hot press furnace: 1) in the heating process, the workpiece surface oxidation and decarbonization are completely eliminated, and the surface is clean without metamorphic layer. This is important for improving the cutting performance of tools grinding on only one side, such as twist drill grinding, which directly exposes the decarbonized layer of the groove surface to the edge. 2) No environmental pollution, no need to deal with three wastes. 3) The temperature measurement and monitoring accuracy of vacuum furnace is greatly improved. The thermocouple indicator value and furnace temperature reach (+1.5) C, but the temperature difference of different parts of a large number of workpieces in the furnace is large. If forced circulation of rarefied gas is adopted, the temperature difference can still be controlled within (+5) C. 4) High degree of electromechanical integration. On the basis of improving the accuracy of temperature measurement and control, the program of workpiece movement, pressure adjustment and power adjustment is prepared in advance, and quenching and tempering is carried out step by step. 5) Energy consumption is significantly lower than that of salt bath furnace. Modern advanced vacuum furnace heating chamber adopts thermal insulation materials to make thermal insulation wall and thermal insulation barrier, which can highly concentrate the electric heating energy in the chamber, with remarkable energy-saving effect.
