How to eliminate the temperature difference of vacuum hot press furnace? The vacuum degree is related to the production capacity of the equipment, so how to improve the vacuum degree of vacuum furnace is a very important topic in the production process.

In the evaporation process, there are two ways to increase the vacuum furnace temperature difference: one is to increase the pressure of heating steam, the other is to increase the degree of vacuum. However, the heating steam pressure that increases the effect increases the temperature of the effect, and the increase in production capacity is not obvious. Instead, it will result in increased scaling, shorter operation cycles, and increased corrosion of equipment. Therefore, increasing vacuum is a good choice to increase the total temperature difference of the system.

Vacuum furnace is mainly used for processing metal materials. Many metal materials are processed at high temperatures or used in other production. Are there any metal materials that cannot be heat-treated in a vacuum furnace?

Theoretically, metal materials can be heat-treated in vacuum furnaces. However, due to technical requirements, processing costs and easy to implement processes, the following materials (workpieces) should not be heat-treated in vacuum furnaces.

1. High temperature is sensitive to element N, which is easy to form harmful substances. In order to prevent the volatilization of alloying elements at high temperature, high purity nitrogen is usually filled into the vacuum furnace at high temperature to maintain partial pressure. Nitrogen cooling is usually used for cooling. Therefore, such materials should not be processed through vacuum furnaces.

2. Carbon steel. From a cost point of view, carbon steel is cheap and manufactured goods are cheap. It is wasteful to use vacuum furnaces for treatment unless there is a high margin work piece or no machining allowance and easy to use where surface quality is required.

3. Some materials (workpieces) adopt special processes. For example, in order to obtain good mechanical properties, some workpieces require bainite, which is usually achieved by isothermal quenching, which is difficult to achieve in vacuum heat treatment furnaces. For T10 steel requiring high hardness and low deformation, it is usually achieved by water quenched oil cooling. Although vacuum furnace can obtain high hardness through high-pressure gas quenching, it is caused by its fast cooling rate and large deformation below Ms point.
